In 2022, Football opened its regular season with an electrifying win over Hawai’i.

• Anfernee Orji returns a 28-yard fumble to put Vanderbilt up 14-7 in the first quarter

• Quarterback Mike Wright finds a hole in the defense and books it for an insane 87-yard touchdown

• Commodores secure the win 63-10, preventing the Rainbow Warriors from scoring in the entire second half of play, and setting the path for them to have what was one of their most successful seasons in the past three years to date
