🏈 WAY BACK WEDNESDAY

In a very familiar rival contest, the Class of ‘82 takes down Tennessee on home soil.

  • The Volunteers opened scoring in this game with a touchdown late in the first quarter.

  • Getting stopped and sacked; it seemed as though the Commodores couldn’t provide an answer. However, as time ran on, quarterback Taylor sent the ball blazing through the air and receiver Perry snatched it down to bring the team back to life [12:04].

  • The game is eventually tied at 21 as Taylor swiftly books for the end-zone before getting stopped at the one-yard line with two minutes left in the matchup [40:18].

  • Vanderbilt secured the touchdown and extra-point, before having to play the best defense it possibly could. Ultimately, Tennessee failed to retaliate as the Dores claimed a 27-21 victory.

CATCH HIM IN THE ASG
