🏆 STARTING FIVE: MARCH MAYHEM

No. 7 Women’s Hoops will open NCAA Tournament action against No. 10 Oregon this evening. With a win, the Dores will face either No. 2 Duke or No. 15 Lehigh in the Round of 32:
Oregon and Vanderbilt have met twice previously, most recently during the 1994-95 season, the Dores hold a 2-0 lead in the all-time series
A win would be the Ducks' first NCAA Tournament win since 2021 when they advanced to the Sweet Sixteen
Duke
Fresh off winning the 2025 ACC Women's Basketball Tournament title against NC State, Duke will make its 27th all-time NCAA Championship appearance
The Blue Devils hold a 61-26 (.701) all-time record in the NCAA Tournament, advancing to 18 Sweet 16's – most recently in 2024 – 11 Elite Eights and four Final Fours over the program's history

For the first time in program history, the back-to-back-to-back WCC regular season champs, Saint Mary's, makes their fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament
The Gaels trail the all-time series against Vanderbilt, 3-1

This season, the Crimson Tide advanced to the SEC Tournament semifinals before falling to eventual champion Florida and will now play in its 26th all-time NCAA Tournament
